Israeli mezzo-soprano Tamara Navoth performs regularly in Israeli Opera productions as well as a soloist with many local orchestras and ensembles singing both opera, orchestral and lied repertoire. She recently won the Mira Zakai Prize for Outstanding Performance of an Israeli Vocal Piece at the Aviv Competitions. Her performance as the Priest, as well as other roles, in the world premiere of Theodor by Yonatan Cnaan was highly praised by audience and critics alike. In the upcoming 2024-2025 season of the Israeli Opera, she will perform the roles of Giannetta in L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti), Mrs Sedley in Peter Grimes (Britten)-Postponed,  Alice in Wonderland (Sebba) and others. She will also perform in concerts with several Israeli orchestras and ensembles.

Tamara Navoth, mezzo-soprano, graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music (Master’s degree). She was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio and is currently a member of the Cecilia Ensemble and a soloist at the Israeli Opera. She won the Mira Zakai prize for outstanding performance of an Israeli vocal piece at the Aviv Competitions 2022 and received many scholarships including the Leon Nacht, Eli Leon, the Ronen Foundation, the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the IVAI Buchholtz Foundation and the Mickey Ofrat Foundation. She performed as a soloist with the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the Raanana Symphonette, the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, the Barrocade Ensemble and at various prestigious festivals in Israel. She performs regularly in many Israeli Opera concert and productions. Her wide operatic repertoire ranges from the Baroque to contemporary works and includes the lead role in L’enfant et les Sortilèges (Ravel) and in La calisto (Cavalli), Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Dido in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell), Mercedes in Carmen (Bizet), Annio in La clemenza di Tito (Mozart), Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), the Priest in the world premiere of Theodor (Cnaan) and more.
