Israeli mezzo-soprano Tamara Navoth regularly performs in the Israeli Opera productions and as a soloist with numerous local orchestras and ensembles, singing opera, orchestral, and lied repertoire. She is a soloist in the Cecilia Ensemble, an award-winning group specializing in original and diverse musical programs, collaborating with leading composers and performing repertoire from the Renaissance to contemporary works. Tamara is the recipient of the Mira Zakai Prize for Outstanding Performance of an Israeli Vocal Piece at the Aviv Competitions. Her portrayal of the Priest, along with other roles, in the world premiere of Theodor by Yonatan Cnaan received high praise from audiences and critics alike. In the 2025–2026 season of the Israeli Opera, she will perform the title role in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell), Batya in The Dybbuk (Josef Bardanashvili), the Page of Herodias in Salome (Strauss), and more. Additionally, she will perform in concerts with several Israeli orchestras and ensembles.

Tamara Navoth, mezzo-soprano, graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music (Master’s degree). She was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio and is currently a member of the Cecilia Ensemble and a soloist at the Israeli Opera. She won the Mira Zakai prize for outstanding performance of an Israeli vocal piece at the Aviv Competitions 2022 and received many scholarships including the Leon Nacht, Eli Leon, the Ronen Foundation, the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the IVAI Buchholtz Foundation and the Mickey Ofrat Foundation. She performed as a soloist with the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the Raanana Symphonette, the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, the Barrocade Ensemble and at various prestigious festivals in Israel. She performs regularly in many Israeli Opera concert and productions. Her wide operatic repertoire ranges from the Baroque to contemporary works and includes the lead role in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell), L’enfant et les Sortilèges (Ravel) and in La calisto (Cavalli), Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Mercedes in Carmen (Bizet), Annio in La clemenza di Tito (Mozart), Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), the Priest in the world premiere of Theodor (Cnaan) and more.
